2. Mark Zuckerberg - Estimated worth $1 Billion dollars.
Facebook facebook facebook, all we ever seem to hear about is facebook. It has become one of the largest social networking sites and its popularity continues to grow at an exponential rate. Mark Zuckerberg is not only the second richest person on my list but also the youngest at just 22. Facebook launched on February 4th 2004 and has not looked back since. I myself am addicted to the site having to log on almost daily to see what my friends are up to and read my messages, and others are worse using facebook on their mobile phones. It appears we are all slowly biting on the facebook bug and when the company eventually goes public ( I have no doubt that it will ) Mark Zuckerberg will be an incredibly wealthy man indeed.

1. Larry Page and Sergey Brin - Estimated wealth $7 billion each.
Well no Internet rich list would be complete without the inevitably twosome heading up the list with an unbelievable $7 billion each. If there is one site I use more regularly than any other it’s google. I can still remember back in the early days the google website being recommended to me by a friend. Almost instantly I was hooked and abandoned altavista, lycos and hotbot to use google. It provided fantastically relevant results which has been the key to it’s on going success. Once monetized by providing advertising on the now famous pay per click model there really was no stopping google. I only wish I had brought shares in the early days so I too could be sharing some of their successes. Oh well there is always google adsense
